We created an art directed product experience that presents the product and the journey that their work went through to create their own unique Pyre Pen.



– every customer gets their own unique booklet that shows what happened to their work, and how we made their ink.


– This was not only a designed experience, as Molly and I both devised how to create ink out of the unwanted work. We incinerated the work ourselves, in a foundry. All the ashes were collected from the charcoal, from which we made the ink.

Pyre Pens

In response to a brief to use fire, we used it to nourish people’s creativity by burning work they are not proud of, and making usable ink out of the ashes.
